9.25 (very good) One of my first and favourite animes. I'm completely caught up to both the anime and the manga. Kubo Tite deffinately knows how to write a story ;) The only thing that makes it lose points is the anime's awefully boring fillers, but I just skip those :D If you haven't seen it already, I suggest that you do!
Also, if you can somehow sucsessfully name each and every character in this anime corectly, then you have major skills. Seriously. I can't even count them all o__o

D.N.Angel

Last Updated: Jun 01, 2010

3.00 (poor) I'm sorry. I couldn't finnish this. I found it extremely boring and stupid. It lacks serious character developement and story plot. When I first heard of D.N.Angel, I had high hopes, but I've pretty much given up now. Although, my friend tells me that the manga is much better. Hope she's right :/
The points I give this anime mostly come from it's opening, which was good :)

Death Note

Last Updated: May 31, 2010

9.50 (excellent) I see alot of people dis this series because apparently "it's all talking and nothing ever happens". Not everything good in life is flashy and attractive and wrapped up in bubblegum pink paper guys. Death Note is a good example. This series gives you just enough information to know what's going on, but at the same time, you DON'T know what's going on, and that makes it all the more interesting. Hard to explain unless you've watched/read it, and I highly suggest that you do. However weird you might think this is, I actually almost WANTED our little anti-hero to take over the world. How messed up is that? Not only that, but I fell in love with a guy with buldging eyes who spends pretty much his whole life crouched in front of a computer hugging his knees, biting his thumb and inhaling sweets like there's no tomorrow. And never blinks. That's character developement for you.

Elfen Lied

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

8.50 (very good) The story was cool, but pretty sad when you take it to heart. Just like the main character, it has two sides. A scene can start out very cute and funny, and then next thing you know someone's head just exploded.
....No, really. Elfen Lied likes making people explode.
Characters were also cool, very well developed(...) and interesting. Not very many downpoints! Yes, I do recomend, but please remember that there is A LOT of mature content.
Viewer descretion is strongly advised...?

Fruits Basket

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

8.75 (very good) I love this little story. It's such a sweat and touching series, it warms my heart everytime ^^ Also, love the characters!
Now, I know about the relationship between the anime and manga. I've finnished both, and I like them both. And while the anime ended with fans who had already finnished the manga displeased, (I'll admit I was a little too) I thought they did an overall awesome job. Especialy the soundtrack. There are alot of really nice peices in there. (Example being the opening. Makes me want to cry now that I know the story D: )
If you're a girl looking to get into anime and manga, I suggest Fruits Basket as a great starting point! :)

9.00 (very good) Really really fun. This show is just awesome. I totaly understand why it's so popular! Everyone who watches and likes FMA has good taste in my books!
The characters are great. I really love the brotherly bond between Ed and Al ? And the story is just compelling. There wasn't yet a point in my time watching it that I wasn't interested in what was happening or what was going to happen.
Will DEFINATELY update when finnished!

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

6.75 (above average) Considering that it's an anime based off the closest thing I can think of to a Japanese samurai dating sim with actual fighting (to my understanding), it pretty good, but alone it's only alright. The main charater is so useless, but she's sweet so I can't hate her to much. And I guess it's alright that she can't do much with combat, because she's got a freaking swarm of super samurai bishies playing in the palm of her hand. Not that she'd do anything to them though.
So yeah, it got me interested in that game, but I'm not going to give the anime crazy points. But It's a pass.

Hetalia: Axis Powers

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

8.75 (very good) This show is racist, stereotypical, patriotic, and extremely gay. And I mean that. But it is also absolutely, retardedly, freaking HILARIOUS. Who ever would have thought that a show based on world history would be so entertaining? I certainly didn't. I hate history! But I love Hetalia! By episode 5, I was rolling on the floor.
I HIGHLY suggest that you give it a try. Unless you're easily offended. Or have no sence of humor. In which case, you should fix those problems so you can watch Hetalia ;)

8.00 (good) Oh the lovely gore~ This anime is fun if you love watching insane people go nuts! And most of them are adolecent teenagers! True fact: Search "Crazy Anime Laughs" on YouTube and you are bound to get something from this show. (that and Light Yagami freaking out, but you already knew that, right?)
Still, this seires does hold it's share of mystery. And confusion at times. But overall, I liked it so far. Will probably update when I'm all done ;)

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Last Updated: Jun 13, 2010

9.75 (excellent) I can't wait to tune into Reborn every week. It's always such a laugh and such a thrill. This series has the most diverse and original set of characters that I've ever seen in my life. And the most catch phrases. Personaly, I usually find it so easy for me to predict what's going to happen next, and I love waiting to see if I'm right. xD Watch KHR. It's gotten this popular for a reason.

10.00 (excellent) What can I say about Black Butler.......It's dark, creepy, dramatic, mysterious and very secretive, but at the same time it showed me some of the most funniest and cutest moments I've ever seen ever. This series has everything, diverse characters, great story line, those moments that make you want to scream out of fustration, jump from sheer joy, cry your eyes out, and moments that leave you gasping, mouth agape. While both the anime and manga are pretty different as they run along, you won't regret experiancing both. And as a bonus, they've recently released a second season, so I'd recomend that too! :D Absolutely, without a doubt, one of my all time favourite serieses to date.

Loveless

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Aug 02, 2010

7.25 (above average) Still working on it, and I'm reading the manga. I might check the anime after.
The first 8 volumes of this happened to be laying on my friend's bookself on a night we were bored. I had six of them finnished by the time I had to leave, and I borrowed and finnished the other two when I got home :|
I've never been a yaoi fan girl, and I don't think I ever will be. But it seems shouen ai isn't that bad. I really do like little Ritsuka. So cute ? And he's also probably the only normal one. Everyone else is either sadistic, masochistic, a pedofile, abusive, stupid, or just retarded. Somehow he manages to survive and thrive through all this madness.
I like most of the aspects of Loveless, like the whole Fighter and Sacrifise thing, but I also think there are so many places where it could have been better then it was. :/ I'm still interested in it though and I probably will finish it.

Ouran High School Host Club

Last Updated: Jun 01, 2010

9.00 (very good) It's perfectly balenced by it's fun and hilarity with it's captivating storyline, and just enough romance to satisfy all you Shojo fans out there. What more could you ask for?
I personaly love the entire host club, and the miner charcters build up nice little side stories away from what you call "main conflicts" I guess xD But yes, OHSHC will have you rolling with laughter. Great series. I had such a fun time watching and reading it through ^^

Pandora Hearts

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

9.50 (excellent) Please note that I'm rating this series for the manga, not the anime. Because the anime was just a huge disappointment.
Despite the series being somewhat confusing, if you've stuck with it from the beginning, it's deffinately extremely enjoyable. And you know what else? It can be absolutely HILARIOUS. Seriously, you think something groundbraking or terrible is going to happen to one of your favourite characters, then BAM. They throw you something so freaking random that you end up falling off your chair laughing. It's great.
The complex story of PH combined with all the mysterious, adorable and lovable characters make it a must read. This series always has me wondering what is going to happen next.

Romeo x Juliet

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

8.00 (good) Want my personal oppinion? Much better then the Shakespere version of the two lovers. However, keep this in mind, this story will probably be alot more fun to you if you HAVE read the original. Not saying you shouldn't watch it if you've never read Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet before, just that you'll probably like it better if you have.
Anyway, moving on. This series is a very cute little love story. And I really love how pretty much all of the characters we re-done and even given compleately different characteristics. (ex: Tybalt o__o ) Also, I thought it was totaly awesome how they made William Shakespeare an actual character in it! And a good character too! He even recites some famous quotes all throughout the anime, so Shakespeare fans, keep a lookout!
Something that I don't like about it? Just like in the original story, Romeo is a freaking puppy _ _" It's a little annoying. But I guess I can't get mad at him for being in love...
Update when completed! :)

Shugo Chara

4.00 (below average) Whatched mostly for lulz. I can only disect that it's a cute anime for little girls. But I'm not a little girl, so here's what I think;
Stupid.
All I see is a little pink-haired spazzy 11-year-old chick running around with her floating faries being stalked by this 17-year-old cat guy. (For some reason people seem to think these two would make an EXCELENT couple......You freaking perverts.) Oh yeah, and bad egg jokes. Ugh, the entire thing makes me want to do 50+ head-to-desks.
Why this thing has become so poular is beyond me.

Tegami Bachi

Last Updated: Oct 12, 2010

8.50 (very good) Oh my god. This is probably the most emotional anime you'll ever see. Pretty much every single episode will give you a reason to cry, I know I certainly shed my share of tears while watching this. I can't believe how cute the whole thing is D':
The series sort of gives off this magical feel, I love it so much. Amberground does have some pretty cool scenery xD Also, I will say it. The protagonist is the biggest little cry baby I've ever seen. But I can't help but love him, he's so sweet!
....God dammit Gauche! ;A;

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jun 08, 2010

8.00 (good) When I first heard of this anime, I thought it was going to be some prissy girly anime like Lucky Star or something (no offence to Lucky Star fans), but I was totaly surprised when my friend and I decided to turn it on one night for randomness. This series is deffinately NOT what you'd expect from it. Ever. I suggest giving it a try if you're in the mood for something different. In a good way. Although I still have yet to finnish it myself ^^;

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jun 26, 2010

4.00 (below average) Want to know the only thing I liked about Tsubasa? Fye. End of story.
I'm completely aware of the series's HUGE fan base. For me, this is something I'll never understand. I do like Card Captor Sakura, but I don't like Tsubasa and I don't think I'll ever finnish it. Here are some reasons why.
The story is......somewhat.......imposible. Our heroes are jumping through hundereds of dimensions looking for feathers. FEATHERS. Now, I do understand the drive for the characters to find these...feathers...but how the heck do they know when they have them all, or if they skip some? Or if some of them are, I don't know, damaged or something..? This is all kind of...unanswered I guess, and I absolutely can't stand it.
Also, the entire thing is a giant headache. They'll introduce something to the show, that I will admit, is sometimes kind of interesting. But 5 episodes later? The whole concept is scrapped and replaced with something entirely off the wall. It's crazy and confusing and I couldn't keep track. Not only that, but each and every episode is packed with so much information that you are practicaly forced to watch them all. If not, you will be completely and uterally lost. Lost!
So to sum it all up? No recomendation from Sour. Go watch something else. Please.

Vampire Knight

Last Updated: Jul 22, 2010

8.00 (good) Only seen the anime, not the manga. I have no idea if they differ.
This was quite a nice series running along. It was enjoyable and interesting, though the ending kind of turned me off. I don't know, it's hard to explain. All I can say is that I just didn't feel satisfied. The rest of it was great though. Compelling story and interesting looking characters (although personalities were a little blan sometimes). I honestly think that Stephenie Meyer used Vampire Knight as her insperation to write her famous and overly-rated novel series of sparkly Vampires xD (compare the charcters, it's totaly obvious who is who)
Watch if you like the idea Vampires and Romance. Even if you didn't like Twilight.

9.50 (excellent) This was my very first mature anime. (with like, blood and swearing and stuff) Not currently watching it, where I've finnished it. But it was such a great series, I remember being glued to it! So much drama and action....oh man, just so awesome. Makes me laugh and cry everytime I rewatch it. It deffinately desserves more attention. So people! If you love wolves, go watch it! Right now! You won't be disappointed! Come on, it's in english too!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

7.00 (above average) Oh the memories <3 I was probably the only girl in my neibourhood who really loved Yu-Gi-Oh. I can remember running home like crazy at 4:30 so I wouldn't miss my episode ;D So yeah, my kid self thought the show was fantastic.
I have recently rewatched the series again, and I don't mean skimming through random episodes. I rewatched most of it, like, 100+ episodes, and you know what? It's actualy not that bad. At least for a kids show that revolves around card games anyway. If you got a kid that loves action-y stuff, show it to them! The original series though, GX and 5D's are just laughibly pathetic. (Card Games on Motorcycles!!)
Oh by the way, the Dark Magician is AWESOME. Yeah, I still think that :3
